Nelson was formerly the Research Associate in New Testament Text & Language at Tyndale House Cambridge from 2022 - 2025.

Nelson is originally from Los Angeles, California and is married to Hannah. They have three children (two boys and a girl).

This blog’s name ‘Bring the parchments’ comes from 2 Timothy 4:13, where Paul asks Timothy to bring his “cloak … and the books, especially the parchments.” Even in prison, Paul was an avid reader and writer.

I study ancient manuscripts and how they open up the message of Scripture in unique ways that are different from our modern printed Bibles.
